Pasadena Public Health Department (2006)

The department provides extra breaks for women who are pumping or nursing. There are private spaces available and a general attitude among all staff members that promotes breastfeeding!

Breastfeeding Works is a project of the Breastfeeding Task Force of Greater Los Angeles that promotes the implementation of employee policies and programs to support lactation in the workplace. Breastfeeding Works also aims to provide self advocacy tools and technical assistance to employees seeking help in transitioning back into the workforce and continuing to breastfeed.
