Northridge Hospital’s breastfeeding employees have the comfort of knowing that when they go back to work they have access to a lactation room every day as well as onsite child care and onsite care for mildly ill children. Their mothers are encouraged either to breastfeed directly or provide pumped breast milk for them. The hospital also has a written lactation policy.
