Huntington Memorial Hospital (2008)

Female staff returning from work at Huntington Memorial appreciate the support they get from the hospital to continue breastfeeding. The lactating staffs at Huntington Memorial have a lactation room available to them 24 hours a day for every day of the year. The Hospital also has Worksite Lactation Policy in place. The staff can also bring their children at onsite child care for direct breastfeeding.

Breastfeeding Works is a project of the Breastfeeding Task Force of Greater Los Angeles that promotes the implementation of employee policies and programs to support lactation in the workplace. Breastfeeding Works also aims to provide self advocacy tools and technical assistance to employees seeking help in transitioning back into the workforce and continuing to breastfeed.
